I did not grow up knowing the names of these plants. But I grew up around women who did — my grandmother, her neighbours, the farmers who grew tea on land their families had worked for generations. What they knew about the body, about rhythm, about what the land offers each season — that knowledge does not sit in research papers. It sits in kitchens and in fields.

I spent years feeling like my energy was unpredictable. Then I started paying attention to the pattern. It was not unpredictable at all — it was cyclical. Once I matched what I consumed to where I was in my cycle, everything became easier to work with.

THE LAND

The herbs in FASE teas grow in the highlands of northern Vietnam — in land that has been farmed by the same families for generations. Gừng, sả, nghệ — ginger, lemongrass, turmeric — are not ingredients imported for trend. They are the foundation of Vietnamese dưỡng sinh practice.
